The welcome of the Committee

Every year the International Track and Field Meeting - Memorial Primo Nebiolo proves to be a never-ending adventure which renews itself each time and stirs up strong emotions and impressions. The best Italian and foreign athletes compete with one another on the track and on the takeoff boards of the Primo Nebiolo Stadium and in this edition, so close to the summer Olympic Games, the young athletes who traditionally take part in the event may be ready to give us some beautiful surprises. Moreover, the event will be for FIDAL an important test (valid for the Olympic qualification) useful to select the relays, and this can only make us proud of our work and enthusiast for the approval granted to us by the National and International Athletics Federations. A special thanks goes to the public institutions whose collaboration allows us to have every year in our city some of the best athletes of the world. I therefore warmly greet all the athletes who will be in Torino on June the 6th, and I hope they will be able to give their best, supported by the big and cheerful audience of the Savoy city.
