Primo Nebiolo’s identity card

· He was born in Turin the 14th of July 1923
· He died in Rome the 7th of November 1999

In 1943 he fights together the partisan
In 1944 he has been arrested by the German, He escaped from jail and he joined with partisan in Monferrato.
Thanks at his skills the 25th of April 1945 he obtained the title of “Ispettore Generale del Comitato di liberazione nazionale” for Piemonte.
After the war he competed in long jump.
He obtained the degree in law and he work in a constructions factory. Subsequently he obtained high role in other big factories.
The career as sport manager started in 1948 when he became president of CUS Turin.

Member of council IAAF (international amateur athletics federation) 1972 – 1981
President of organizational committee of European championship in Rome (1974), athletics world cup in Rome (1981) and world championship of athletics in Rome (1987).

President of FISU (international sport universary federation)
Organizer of Winter world game in 1966 and in 1976
Organizer of Summer world game (universiade) in 1959 and 1970

President of AISOF 1983 – 1999
Member of CONI (Italian Olympic committee) from 1969, of the committee from 1973 to 1978 and then from 1992 to 1999, vice-president of CONI from 1978 to 1989.
Member of CIO “motu proprio” of president Samarach in 1992.
